Our world-class distillery is located in the heart of the beautiful Virginia Blue Ridge Mountains, in Lovingston, VA, directly off US-29 and just a short drive south of Charlottesville. Whisky Tastings
No visit to Virginia Distillery Co. is complete without a tasting. Tasting guests must be 21+ with valid ID. Walk-ins are always welcome or you can book a reservation below.
We offer a variety of tasting options featuring neat whiskies and our seasonal cocktails. Prices range from $20-$30 per person.
DISTILLERY TOURS
We are a premier award-winning American Single Malt whisky distillery. Join us for a distillery tour and see how we’re doing it! All tours include a tasting for Guests 21+ with valid ID. Tours last approximately 1hr and are offered at 2:00pm and 3:30pm, Thursday - Sunday. Call ahead or book a reservation below.
Distillery Tour & Tasting
This tour takes you into our distillery, bottling house, and museum. Your ticket also includes a Standard Tasting Flight.
VIP Distillery and Cask House Tour & Tasting
This exclusive VIP tour guides you through our world-class distillery, with special access to our cask house, and includes a Single Cask Tasting Flight.

Private Events
Interested in private events at the distillery? We currently host private events. Rent our indoor Whisky Loft for corporate events, celebrations, private whisky tastings, and more. Tours can always be incorporated into any private event. The Distillery is the perfect backdrop for any occasion.
Copper Helicopter Experience
Want to take a private helicopter to the distillery? We offer the unique experience of chartering a private helicopter for your visit to the distillery. Flights are offered from many major cities in the Mid-Atlantic, including Washington DC, Richmond, Philadelphia, Raleigh, Charlotte, and more. We can accommodate parties of 4-6 with two different helicopter options. Please inquire about rates if you don't see the city you'd be interested in flying from listed below.
