A delicious riff on an Old Fashioned, playing up the milk chocolate notes in the whiskey and bringing some richness and depth with the maple syrup and baking spice notes in the bitters. The darker notes provide contrast to the bright peach, banana and citrus found in our Courage & Conviction Signature Malt.
• 2 oz Courage & Conviction Signature Malt
• .25 oz maple syrup
• 4 dash Angostura Chocolate Bitters
• Shaved chocolate & orange peel for garnish
Add all ingredients to a mixing glass, add ice & stir. Strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice. Express orange oil over the top and garnish with peel and shaved chocolate.
