Charity Cask: Benefits the Nelson County Community Fund
Virginia Distillery Company has always been proud to be a part of the Nelson County community and strives to find ways to support local organizations.
This year's Charity Cask is a Coffee Cask Finished Virginia-Highland Whisky made in collaboration with our good friends at Snowing in Space. They brewed a coffee in our whisky barrel and once the barrel was emptied, we took it back and filled it with whisky, which finished in the cask for 14 months.
Net proceeds from this cask will benefit the Nelson County Community Fund. The NCCF is a community-based non-profit organization that makes grants available to diverse non-profits serving health, educational, and humanitarian needs in Nelson County.
The NCCF directs donations to organizations benefiting school-age children, adults in need, and community services. Grants are made possible through generous donations, and partnering with area businesses to sponsor fundraising events.
With 276 bottles produced, Charity Cask is a limited release offering available to Virginia residents through online purchase on our store.

Charity Cask: The Whisky
Finished in a coffee cask, featuring notes of roasted coffee beans, soft milk chocolate, tart berries, and honey on the nose and chocolate and coffee merging into barrel spice on the palate.
